About Our School
The Angela Day School is a tuition free public charter school. We are a parent and teacher led holistic progressive education laboratory style school offering experiences in outdoor and farm based learning. Our vision for this school was born out of a desire to provide children with a warm and caring learning environment, reflective of the diversity of our community. We set out to design a school with an antiracist, holistic, and child centered curriculum to meet the needs of all children. We utilize progressive education principles as a framework, and add in the rich and varied experiences of humankind, to come up with a truly equitable and inclusive community school. Join us as we work to create the kind of school every child, regardless of ability, ethnicity, or socio-economic status should have access to and be able to attend. This is the education our children deserve.

What People are Saying
“I would love to see a school in my community that is anti-racist, inclusive, that prioritizes quality education and considers the whole student.”
What People are Saying
“For years I've been hoping to see schools with more explicitly inclusive, anti-racist curriculums and mission statements... We need more schools that challenge this malevolent numbness before it can begin. Adulthood is too late to start THINKING about maybe being less racist.”
What People are Saying
“I'm thrilled to hear of a school that's working to blend social, environmental, racial, and economic justice the best pedagogical practices from several educational philosophies. This is just what our children, families, and communities need!”
What People are Saying
“As a former educator turned therapist I ...wish there was a public school option that offered a curriculum that aligns with what we appreciate about child development...I hope it can serve as a model of what is possible for our children and families in the public education sector.”
What People are Saying
“This school is what the community needs in the time of healing, social justice, and land acknowledgement.”
